Rooms for Hire

Great Oak Hall

Dining table

Great Oak Hall is on the ground floor, and has a kitchenette facility within the Hall for the serving of food and drinks. The Hall has a hearing loop, PA system, LCD projector and projection screen. The room is suitable for a wide variety of uses such as conferences, meetings and special events such as parties, discos and wedding receptions.

The Great Oak Hall can also be divided into two smaller rooms, both of which have access to a kitchenette facility:

1. Oaks

2. Acorns

Acorns is the smaller section of the Hall, with the facility of the LCD projector and projection screen.

3. Holly

The Holly room

Located on the first floor, overlooking the amphitheatre, this room is ideal for meetings or training sessions.

4. Hazel

The Hazel room

Located on the First Floor, the IT suite has internet connection. The room is air conditioned and has an overhead LCD projector and projection screen. This suite is available for hire by certified training providers.

Please note: there is an adjustable workstation to accommodate a wheelchair user.

 

5. Silver Birch

The Silver Birch room

This is the second formal meeting room also located on the First Floor, next to the balcony overlooking the amphitheatre. It is also suitable for small meetings, training sessions or interviews.

6. Maple

The Maple room

This cosy room on the First Floor is suitable for small meetings, interviews or counselling sessions.

7. Cherry

The Cherry room

Next to the balcony, overlooking the amphitheatre on the First Floor is the second of the smaller meeting rooms.   Seating 8 around an oval table there is still space for flipcharts and a refreshments table. Click the photo to see a bigger picture of the room (opens in new browser).

All cancellations must be made in writing with the following charges applied, as appropriate:

Internet/PC access points are available in the following rooms:

Rates can be negotiated for half day or full day use of rooms. Anyone wishing to hire rooms other than on an hourly basis should contact the Centre Manager to discuss charges.

Refreshments & Catering

Our on-site catering is provided by the Frogmeadow Café which can be located on the ground floor of the Centre. The café offers a range of excellent buffets to suit all your needs. All menus include vegetarian options, and with advance notice, can be customised to suit any special dietary requirements.
